Manchester United have opened talks with Valencia over the signing of Spanish under-21 midfielder Carlos Soler, according to reports in the Daily Mail today.
The youngster has made an excellent start to the season, and has caught the eye of a number of top European clubs with the Red Devils supposedly willing to pay £30million to secure his services.
Valencia currently sit second in La Liga, four points behind leaders Barcelona. Soler has played a big part in their revival under new manager Marcelino after breaking into the first team last season.
