Ashley Young considering big-money move

Ashley Young is ready to snub Premier League interest this month in favour of a move to China.

The Manchester United winger, 31, is the subject of interest from Chinese side Shandong Luneng.

West Brom are the Premier League side said to be interested, however, Shandong Luneng are offering a net-earning of £16million per year, which the player is finding hard to turn down.

Young is on £120,00-a-week at Old Trafford, where his contract runs until 2018, with a further 12 months’ option in United’s favour.

Jose Mourinho hasn’t used him too often this season, starting him just 6 times, and even giving him a run-out at right-back at one point.

Former United striker Carlos Tevez arrived in China yesterday to begin his career there. He has become the highest-paid player in the world, earning over ÂŁ600,000 per week.
