Manchester United are preparing a mammoth £443m world record transfer bid for PSG superstar Neymar according to reports.

Manchester United want to sign a global superstar by the end of the season according to reports.

Vice chair-man Ed Woodward is determined to sign a global superstar to boost the clubs worldwide status as one of the top elite clubs in the world.

French outlet Le 10 Sport report Manchester United are considering a £443m bid to lure the Brazilian star to Manchester.

The 25-year-old only just completed a world record transfer move to Paris Saint Germain from Barcelona last summer for £198m which shocked the footballing world. But now, Manchester United are prepared to double that fee in order to land the star.

Neymar has scored 20 goals in 22 appearances for PSG this season and it’s understood United have taken note of the stars form.

However, United face competition from Real Madrid who are considering an offer for the star as well. It’s reported that Manchester United and Real Madrid could face a bidding war for the star. But, it’s doubtful PSG would sell him given their financial status and their ambitions to win the Champions League.

United have been after Antoine Griezmann for awhile but it’s understood Neymar is now on top of their transfer wishlist.

However, given Neymar’s huge price tag, Griezmann is possibly a more realistic target.
