Manchester United are prepared to make a £20million bid for Southampton defender Luke Shaw in January, despite the club refusing to accept any offers for him.
David Moyes is keen to sign a new left-back in the New Year in order to replace Patrice Evra, who is thought to be leaving the club either in January or in the Summer, when his contract expires.
The United boss has been strongly linked with signing Leighton Baines from his former club Everton, but after failing to sign him in the Summer, it appears that The Toffees are still reluctant on letting their star asset go.
This means Moyes has now turned his attentions elsewhere and is now looking at Shaw who has impressed the likes of Chelsea as well with his dazzling performances in the Premier League this season and last season.
