In what has been a rather exciting day in the world of football, Mario Gomez has moved to Serie A side Fiorentina.
The big striker has been rumoured to leave Bayern Munich for some time now, with a number of clubs all around Europe wanting the German international.
It is Fiorentina, the side that finished 4th in the recent Serie A who have managed to sign the striker for a fee of around £17m.
Mario Gomez has the reputation of a prolific goal scorer during his time at Stuttgart and most notably Bayern Munich scoring over 60 goals for the Bundesliga champions.
The potential strike force of Mario Gomez and Stevan Jovetic will be seen as one of the best going around in Europe, and there is no stopping Fiorentina having a huge impact on the upcoming Serie A.
