Winger set to complete season-long loan
Liverpool star Lazar Markovic is set to complete a season-long loan to Super Lig outfit Fenerbahce, according to Sky Sports News.
They have just reported that the winger has completed and passed his medical in Turkey and will be announced a Fenerbahce player later today on a temporary deal.
Markovic has failed to shine at Anfield since completing his £20million move from Benfica, and he will now spend the season out on loan in the Super Lig, where he will link up with Nani and Robin Van Persie.
Done Deal?
Sky Sports News have confirmed that the medical process has been completed and all that’s left is the paperwork to be finalised.
Markovic was one of several Brendan Rodgers signed after selling Luis Suarez to FC Barcelona, but sadly for The Reds, the Serbian failed to shine in Merseyside.
It’s not yet understood whether Fenerbahce will have a clause to make it a permanent deal this time next year.
