Doubts had emerged over the past couple of days as whether or not the 23 year old would still be allowed out on loan by Monaco after Radamel Falcao sustained an injury, but the Toffees have tonight confirmed on their Official Website that Traore is now an Everton player until the end of the current Premier League campaign.
Traore only signed for French giants Monaco earlier this month for a deal worth £8.6 million from Russian outfit Anzhi, but the forward was immediately made available for loan.
The Ivorian joins his countryman Arouna Kone at Goodison Park, but Evertonians will probably have to wait until the Villa game to see the striker in action as he awaits his Visa application to do through.
