FC Porto striker Jackson Martinez is ready to snub Arsenal and Liverpool for a move to Italian giants AC Milan after they agreed to pay his release clause.
Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani and Neilo Lucas of Doyen Sport were spotted in Porto yesterday as they were going into advanced talks for the Colombia international.
The Serie A side have slapped a 4-year deal worth over £2million per year on the table for the 28-year-old to consider.
Milan have agreed to pay his £25million release clause but both clubs are still negotiating over how the money will be paid as Milan want to pay the money in separate payments while Porto want the amount in full.
It is reported that the Portuguese side will only sell the player if the full amount is paid at once.
Martinez wants to put transfer talks on hold for a couple of weeks while he is with his national side ahead of the Copa America which starts tonight.
