Argentine has been linked with Chelsea and Manchester United jobs

Chelsea and Manchester United would have to pay £10million if they wanted to appoint Mauricio Pochettino as their next manager.

The Argentine has done a brilliant job at Tottenham Hotspur since arriving two years ago, and he’s on the brink of securing them their first ever Premier League title.

Spurs are currently five points behind league-leaders Leicester City, but are the only real genuine title contenders left in the race following Arsenal‘s recent slump.

Due to Spurs’ impressive campaign, attention has been drawn to Pochettino and his managerial ability, especially after doing well with Southampton before moving to White Hart Lane.

Pochettino Linked

The Argentinian has been linked with the managerial jobs at Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge in recent months, with United on the lookout for Louis van Gaal‘s replacement and Chelsea in need of a new permanent manager.

Although it seems Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte are dead-certs for the respective jobs, Pochettino has always been a contender.

However, if either club did want to lure him away from Tottenham, they’d have to pay them £10m.
