Youngster was seen kicking Fiorentina player last night

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has warned Dele Alli about his future actions after he was spotted kicking out at a Fiorentina player last night.

The starlet has been enjoying a superb debut season for Spurs, providing them with goals and assists from the centre of the park, but last night his nasty side was on show.

Alli visibly kicked Nenad Tomovic in the ribs as the ball went out of play, and despite the ref seeing it and only giving him a yellow card, Pochettino has sent him a word of warning for his future actions.

Speaking after the game, Pochettino admitted that Alli has a lot to learn after narrowly avoiding a red card last night.

Word of Warning

Pochettino said: “I didn’t see it but I will try to teach him. It’s important for every young player to learn a lot about professional football.

“For him it’s his first season in the Premier League for Tottenham. He came from League One. He needs to learn a lot. He is still learning.”
