England manager Roy Hodgson has got more injury woes ahead of his side’s friendlies with Chile and Germany as duo Steven Gerrard and Kyle Walker have both pulled out through injury.
The Liverpool and the Tottenham star have joined Manchester United duo Michael Carrick and Danny Welbeck on the list of absentees, but it is thought that both Gerrard and Walker could return in time for the Germany friendly next week.
Gerrard has aggrevated a hip injury which will see him miss out, while Walker sat out of training on Wednesday, due to a sight knock.
Some good news for Hodgson, is that Frank Lampard has trained with the squad today, despite suffering from the flu, which prompted the squad to change training facilities just to be on the safe side.
England take on Chile at Wembley on Friday night before taking on Germany on Tuesday.
