NEWS: Bayern Munich looking to pip English duo for AC Milan forward

Bayern Munich have emerged as the latest possible summer destination for Carlos Bacca, sending out a bitter blow to both Chelsea and Manchester United.

The Colombian, who signed from Sevilla last summer, has impressed in Serie A for Milan, boasting 15 goals to his name so far – form which has seen the 29-year-old linked with a move elsewhere.

English top-flight sides, Chelsea and Manchester United are both in need of reinforcements, as they look to get back on track in time for next season, following poor domestic campaigns.

However, a report in German sports publication, Bild, suggest that it is indeed the Bundesliga title-holders, Bayern Munich, who are leading the way to sign the player – with in-coming manager, Carlo Ancelotti ready to spend big this summer, as he eyes a ÂŁ46.5m deal, to take Bacca to Bavaria.

Bayern’s Polish forward, Robert Lewandowski, could be depart the Allianz Arena once Ancelotti takes over – Manchester City and Real Madrid have been viewed as potential destinations for the free-scoring international.

Moving back to Bacca, and in a recent interview, he said he has no desire to leave the San Siro.

“I am happy here at Milan, you can see that every day,” he told Mediaset Premium.

“I am relishing the affection of the fans, my family is happy here and I work every day with faith in God, whether things go well or badly.
