PSG salvaged a point late on in a 2-2 draw against Marseille on Sunday night, although the match was overshadowed as world record signing Neymar was sent off late on for a headbutt.
Having scored earlier on, the Brazilian received his second yellow card for lashing out at Marseille’s Lucas Ocampos. PSG were 2-1 down at the time, but a late free-kick from Edinson Cavani earned them a draw.

Marseille took the lead in spectacular fashion as Luis Gustavo found the net from 30 yards out, but Neymar levelled the scoring shortly after.
With little over ten minutes left on the clock, Florian Thauvin put the hosts in front, and it looked like they had done enough when Neymar saw red in the 87th minute.
However, in the third minute of injury time top goalscorer Edinson Cavani came to the rescue, firing a free-kick in off of the crossbar for 2-2.
The Parisiens will be glad to have avoided defeat, but still dropped points and will now be without Neymar for their home match against Nice next week.
