Neymar has apparently encouraged Barcelona to complete the signing of ‘impressive’ Chelsea target Marco Verratti
Neymar has told Barca to complete the signing of the “impressive” Marco Verratti from PSG. Chelsea, Bayern Munich and other big European clubs have also been heavily linked with the midfielder but the Brazil international believes that he would be a better fit for the La Liga giants.
Earlier this month, La Gazzetta dello Sport had reported that the La Liga giants were readying a whopping €100m (£87.7m, $111.7m) bid to bribe PSG to part ways with the Italian midfielder, the report added that Chelsea and Bayern Munich were also interested in his services.
La Gazzetta dello Sport and reports from France have since taken Chelsea and other potential interested parties out of the narrative, claiming that the 24-year-old has set his sights on Barcelona only and is ready to make every effort to make the move happen.
However, negotiations with the Ligue 1 giants have not been that easy as they have reportedly said to the player that he is going nowhere.
