Brazil star set to extend Camp Nou stay despite Red Devils interest
Neymar has announced he is ready to sign a new contract at Barcelona, despite reportedly being interest in joining Manchester United.
The Brazil international has been subject of speculation about his future in Spain, with United reportedly prepared to pay a world-record ÂŁ240 million for the forward.
However, Barcelona are prepared to offer Neymar a deal worth in excess of ÂŁ500,000-a-week on a six-year deal to ease any fears the Brazilian could be tempted away from the Camp Nou.
Neymar happy at Barcelona
A deal is expected to be done in December, just months are Neymar’s representatives had been in contact with United. Barca will extend his buyout clause to ÂŁ182 million, however, that would not necessarily stop the Red Devils from pursuing their target.
The Brazil international has scored four goals in six league appearances for Barcelona this season.
