Manchester United HAVEN’T signed midfielder
Borussia Dortmund have stated that they have not received a bid from Manchester United for midfielder Ilkay Gundogan.
News broke this week that United had an offer of ÂŁ21.5 million pounds accepted by the Bundesliga side, with the player set to agree personal terms this weekend, but however it appears to not be the case.
Dortmund’s sporting director Michael Zorc has revealed that there has been no contact between the clubs over a potential move for Gundogan.
Dortmund Rubbish Reports
He said: “There is no signature, no contract, no offer, no request and not even contact.”
“The last time I talked to Manchester United was in November 2014 and that was about a different topic.”
It is understood that Dortmund would be open to the sale of their midfield playmaker, with the German star’s contract set to expire in 2016.
