Mohamed Salah and Filipe Luis close to exit – Baba Rahman close to joining

Chelsea Football Club are expected to announce three transfers in the next few days, with Filipe Luis and Mohamed Salah departing the club, and Baba Rahman arriving.

The three transfers are all expected to be done, finalised and announced sometime next week, with Jose Mourinho travelling abroad on Monday to wrap up talks with Augsburg in order to land Rahman.

Rahman In/Luis Out

The Ghanaian left-back is set to arrive at Stamford Bridge in a deal worth reportedly £14million, which will see Luis‘ move away confirmed.

The Brazilian has struggled to settle in England and has failed to impress during his debut season in the Premier League.

Luis arrived last summer after agreeing to leave Atletico Madrid, but the left-back couldn’t break into Mourinho‘s first-team and he’s now been told he can return to Spain and his former-club.

According to reports, Atletico will pay £16m to re-signing the defender.

Salah Out on Loan

As for Salah, he’s expected to finalise a season-long loan move to AS Roma after snubbing a move to Fiorentina.

It will be a temporary deal, but with a view to making it permanent this time next year for £14.2m.

Mourinho’s business might be near the end after these three deals are finalised, but a centre-midfielder could still be on his radar.
