The Colombian international has reportedly agreed personal terms with the Turkish giants

Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina is on the verge of moving to Fenerbahce, according to Turkish outlet Lig TV.

Fenerbahce have still yet to agree a fee with the North London club but there are reports the South American stopper could cost around £4million.

Ospina, 26, has recently replaced Wojciech Szczesny as the Gunner’s first-choice goalkeeper but the possible arrival of Petr Cech has cast doubt over his long-term future.

Ospina Out Cech In

According to Sky Sources, Chelsea’s Petr Cech is believed to have agreed personal terms ahead of a move across London to the Gunners.

However, Cech’s potential move to Arsenal could take some time to finalize as the two clubs are reportedly some way off agreeing a fee.

The exact transfer fee is unknown but the move will now just be cash only – Chelsea had apparently asked for a home-grown player in return to begin with.

Cech, 33, has praised Chelsea owner Roman Abamovich for allowing him to join whichever club he chooses, even though that club might now be London rivals Arsenal.

There are rumours Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho would prefer the veteran stopper to join Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain instead of Arsene Wenger’s side.

Ospina Talks Future

With the deal for Cech looking all-but done, Ospina has commented on his own future and has admitted that his agent is currently dealing with things whilst he’s away on international duty.

The Colombian is taking part in the Copa America in Chile and has confirmed that he won’t be talking about his club future.

‘They are dealing with my agent,’ he said.

‘At the moment the only thoughts I have are for Colombia. I will not betray my team.’
