According to the Express, Crystal Palace are closing in on signing Chelsea striker Loic Remy.
The French international has fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge, despite the departure of Blues legend Didier Drogba.
Remy finds himself behind Diego Costa, who scored 20 goals in his debut Premier League season, and Radamel Falcao who has joined on a season-long loan from AS Monaco.
Alan Pardew wants a reunion
The centre forward has been linked with moves away to Besiktas, West Ham United and even back to Newcastle United; where he played under Alan Pardew.
Now the Palace boss wants a reunion with Remy, after already securing a similar situation with Yohan Cabaye‘s move to Selhurst Park.
French media outlets have claimed that Remy wants to stay in London and would be keen to work with Pardew again if a deal could materialise.
The 28-year old scored seven goals for Chelsea last campaign.
