President of Spanish side Raqui San Isidro confirms move is on

FC Barcelona star Pedro has told his family that he’s leaving for England, according to the president of Raqui San Isidro.

The Spanish international has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United in recent weeks, with Angel Di Maria leaving for Paris Saint-Germain, and it now looks like the move has taken a huge step closer to being completed.

Pedro to England

Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool have all been linked as well with the Spaniard, but it looks like Old Trafford will be his destination as a replacement for Di Maria.

The Red Devils are willing to activate his £22million release clause, which will force talks with the winger, even though Barca do not want to sell.

The 28-year-old wants regular first-team football and he knows that won’t happen next year with Neymar, Lionel Messi and eventually Arda Turan all at the club.

Despite Barca not officially wanting to sell Pedro, they may have no choice if his release clause is activated, and the president of a Spanish side has revealed that a move will be happening.

President Admits Deal Is Happening

‘The other day the mother of Pedro told us that he is leaving for England,’ said Jamie Lorenzo, president Raqui San Isidro.

‘I think it would be a good challenge for him and he would have more minutes.’
