Borussia Dortmund striker set for Premier League move?

Manchester United have made first move in the race to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang by holding officials talks, according to reports.

The Gabon international is having his most successful campaign so far, scoring 32 goals in 36 competitions for Borussia Dortmund, including three in two games against Premier League opponents, Tottenham Hotspur.

The Premier League is somewhere the striker could end up, with Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United all recently linked, but according to reports, it’s United that are leading the way.

United Talks

According to The Mirror, representatives from Old Trafford have already held talks with Aubameyang‘s agent regarding a possible ÂŁ60million move to United.

The 26-year-old has a contract at Dortmund until 2020, and officials of the Bundesliga club are confident he will snub a move away this summer, despite the looming interest from England.

As for the striker himself, he appears to want a move to Real Madrid after making a promise to his Granddad that he will one day play for the La Liga giants.
