Thibaut Courtois talks have reportedly stalled as the Belgian is said to want £200,000 a week
Courtois took home the Premier League’s Golden Glove for the first time in the 2016/17 season after keeping 16 clean sheets, with the help of a solid three-man defence in front of him.
Thibaut Courtois has been first choice at Chelsea for three years and won two titles and Real Madrid are admirers.
Courtois is 26th in Europe’s top five leagues when it comes to save percentages since August 2014. He is on 70.41% while Gianluigi Buffon is top on 76.72%.
Courtois is only 15th in Europe when it comes to clean sheets. He has kept 33 CS since August 2014, less than Manuel Neuer (54), Jan Oblak (46), Claudio Bravo (43), De Gea (39) and Joe Hart (34), Simon Mignolet and Fraser Forster have likewise kept 33.
