We take a look at tonight’s Premier League game

Arsenal host Sunderland at the Emirates Stadium tonight with both teams needing just a point to ensure their target for the season.

The Gunners know a point will secure third-spot in the Premier League table, meaning they avoid a Champions League Qualifying game for next season, whilst Sunderland know a point will keep them in the league.

The Black Cats are well and truly in the relegation battle and with Chelsea away on the final day, things aren’t getting any easier for Dick Advocaat‘s men.

Luckily for Sunderland, Hull City face Manchester United on the final day knowing anything but a win would relegate them, but Advocaat would love to get the job done tonight.

Arsenal slipped up at the Emirates last week against Swansea City, but bounced back by drawing to Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Here is the latest team news and how they could both line-up.

Arsenal Team News and Prediction

Arsene Wenger could be without Laurent Koscielny for the game tonight due to illness, but the rest of the team is expected to stay the same.

Mathieu Debuchy, Mikel Arteta, Danny Welbeck and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain all remain sidelined, so Wenger can pick near enough the same team he played at Old Trafford.

However, with a few tired faces, in particular Santi Cazorla, we think there will be at least a couple of changes to the team.

Predicted XI: Ospina, Bellerin, Mertesacker, Gabriel, Monreal, Coquelin, Wilshere, Ozil, Ramsey, Alexis, Giroud

Sunderland Team News and Prediction

As for Sunderland, they have Liam Bridcutt  unavailable after picking up an injury at the weekend, but Jack Rodwell could be back which would be a straight swap.

The Black Cats will also be without Jordi Gomez and Wes Brown, but it’s believed Billy Jones should recover in time for the match.

Predicted XI: Pantilimon, Jones, Coates, O’Shea, Van Aanholt, Cattermole, Rodwell, Larsson, Defoe, Wickham, Fletcher

So what are your thoughts on these two teams?

What changes would you make?
