What an amazing weekend of Premier League football, we’ve had debut goals, shocks and plenty of goals. Heres my selected games but also scores from the other games.

I’ll start at Anfield where Liverpool took on Stoke City, Begovic had an astonishing game and was saving pretty much everything until and lovely strike from Daniel Sturridge put the Reds 1-0 up. There was late drama when Agger handballed and a penalty was given which was saved by Mingolet, Verdict: Liverpool deserved the win.

Arsenal finally kicked off the Premier League season after a no show in the transfer market. It all started so well when Giroud put the Gunners 1-0 up. Benteke then put the visitors level before scoring a penalty to shove Aston Villa 2-1 up. Just minutes after Koscielny was shown a red card, Then Luna notch Villa 3-1 to the good. Verdict: Arsenal need to bring some midfield threats and defensive players.

Norwich entertained Everton at Carrow Road, Ending in a 2-2 draw, Van Wolfswinkel getting on the scoresheet.

Fulham and Southampton also notched up 1-0 victories. Newcomers Cardiff City travelled to Upton Park to take on West Ham United, The Hammers winning 2-0.

The champions Manchester United entertained Swansea City at the Liberty, Top goalscorer Robin Van Persie getting on the scoresheet twice aswell as Danny Welbeck getting on the scoresheet twice conformably wrapped up a stunning 4-1 win for Manchester United.

Other results:

Crystal Palace 0-1 Tottenham Hotspur

Chelsea 2-0 Hull City
