Leicester City manager Claude Puel has told top Premier League clubs they will need to spend at least £100m to get star winger Riyad Mahrez.

Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea have all been linked with the Leicester star player in recent weeks but Leicester manager Claude Puel has warned off potential suitors by stamping a £100m price tag on the 26-year-old.

Mahrez has recaptured the form he was in when he won the PFA player of the year in Leicester City’s Premier League title winning season in 2016.

And Leicester manager Claude Puel has warned off suitors for the Algerian winger with his recent comments…

“It is always the same thing about Riyad, It is just rumours, noise about him and other players.”

“Perhaps in the summer he will cost even more than £100m.  It is speculation and we cannot respond to all the speculation with information.

“We can see Riyad smiling and enjoying his football and enjoying playing with his team-mates – and it is the same in training.”

Mahrez joined Leicester for £400,000 in 2014 from Le Havre and he has been a revelation ever since.

He has scored seven goals in 23 appearances for the Foxes this season and is back to his best after a disappointing run of form last season.

Arsenal are eager to replace the outgoing Alexis Sanchez while Liverpool want to replace Philippe Coutinho.

Chelsea have also been loosely linked to the Algerian but it’s understood the Blues won’t go for him with Willian and Pedro currently on their roster.
