Premier League star set to undergo Chelsea medical
Ross Barkley is is set to undergo a medical at Chelsea today according to Paul Joyce. The Everton midfielder is set to join for a fee reportedly around £15 million.
ESPN have also confirmed the news and have stated that Chelsea held ‘accelerate talks’ with the player last week.
Chelsea were interested in signing him during the summer as well but the player rejected the move. Barkley decided that it wouldn’t be a good move for him that time but is not finally set to join them.

Tottenham were also interested in him but ESPN state that they withdrew their interest after Chelsea entered the race.
Everton would have pocketed £30 million for him had a moved in the summer but the fee has halved as he has only 6 months left on his contract.
The Englishman cones to Chelsea at the same point of his career as Frank Lampard and also with a similar record as the Chelsea legend. The Blues fans would be hoping for at least 50% of what Lampard achieved at the club from Barkley.
