Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United have all registered an interest in Manchester United midfielder Ashley Young.
Young has seen his future at Old Trafford cast into doubt, despite the absence of Argentine winger Angel di Maria for United’s pre-season tour of the United States.
Di Maria is closing in on a £46m move to Paris Saint-Germain, with Louis Van Gaal looking to bring in Barcelona’s Pedro as a like-for-like replacement – pushing Young further down the pecking order at the club.

The 30-year-old remains hopeful of a new and improved contract at United, as Young currently picks up a wage of around £120,000 a-week at United.
However, should no fresh terms be offered to the player – then he could look to leave United for pastures new this summer.
Reports in several daily Newspapers’ suggest that Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, and Newcastle United remain keen on the England international.
