Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini has revealed his desire to leave Old Trafford this summer after holding crunch talks with manager Louis Van Gaal.

The Belgium international has struggled to make an impact in a Manchester United shirt having moved from Everton for the huge sum of ÂŁ27.5 million last summer.

Italian side Napoli have come out publicly declaring their interest in taking the midfielder on loan for the 2014-15 season with Rafa Benitez suggesting he would move for the player once talks with Van Gaal had taken place.

Fellaini famous for his powerful play and afro haircut is believed to want to continue playing Champions League football something which curent club Manchester United cannot offer this season.

With Arturo Vidal’s reported imminent arrival at Old Trafford there could be further frustration for Fellaini this season if he was to stay so he would like the move tied up asap.

Rafa Benitez has confessed that he requires quick additions to his squad ahead of their Champions League qualifier so everything is being put in place for the move to happen in the coming days.
