Arsene Wenger has called on his squad to finish the job against Fenerbache at the Emirates on Tuesday night. A win would secure Arsenal a lucrative place in the UEFA Champions’ League group stages, a position most Arsenal fans cannot think of not achieving.

There was plenty of tension before the first leg with Arsenal losing to Aston Villa 3-1 on the opening day of the season, this result mounted with growing tension on manager Arsene Wenger with fans upset at the lack of signings. The first leg performance however was very promising, a dominant 3-0 win away from home with goals from Kieran Gibbs, Aaron Ramsey and Olivier Giroud. If Arsenal go through it will be their 16th successive season in the Champion’s League.

The Arsenal boos has however stated that he doesn’t want complacency to get in the way of tonight fixture. ‘If you want to knock somebody out you need attitude and commitment or you don’t do it. That demands attitude and commitment and desire to play the game with full power, like we love to do it. We want to finish the job. We have a decent advantage, but we want to get over the line.’

Arsenal fans will be happy with the weekends result against Fulham at Craven Cottage, a comfortable 3-1 victory.

Fenerbache will be without the former Newcastle midfielder Emre Belozoglu due to injury, it is however likely that two former Liverpool men, Dirk Kuyt and Raul Meireles will be included and they will be the key players to try and overturn a three goal deficit.

Arsene Wenger has stated that ’95 per cent of the team who played at Fulham will play.’ Arsenal have a boost as French defender Laurent Koscielny has been included in the squad although it is not known whether he will start. The central defender recieved a nasty head wound in the first leg of the tie that kept him out of the game against Fulham at the weekend. It is expected that the same team from the win at Craven Cottage will start on Tuesday night, although Jack Wilshere, who was on the bench at Fulham, is expected to start. The lack of rotation may come as a shock to some Arsenal fans as they play Tottenham in the North London derby on Sunday.
