Paris Saint-Germain’s president has denied rumours of a possible move for Cristiano Ronaldo

PSG have been linked with the Real Madrid forward as a replacement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to reports.

Ibrahimovic, 33, has been heavily linked with a move back to AC Milan which has prompted the Ligue 1 side to look for a replacement.

Ronaldo scored 48 goals in 35 games last season but a recent fallout with new Real coach Rafael Benitez has prompted speculation about a possible exit for the Portugal international.

Manchester United sold Ronaldo to Real Madrid for £80million back in 2009 and are reportedly keen to bring the 30-year-old back to Old Trafford.

Manager’s comments

Meanwhile, Benitez has looked to address the clash with the two-time FIFA Ballon d’Or winner by admitting there’s no problem if someone becomes frustrated during training.

“When someone gets angry during a training session, but then does their job, there’s no problem, its fine” said Benitez.

PSG close on Di Maria

Manchester United’s Angel Di Maria has been heavily linked with a move to the champions of France, after failing to join the Red Devils on their pre-season of America.

The Argentina international has failed to make an impact in England, scoring three goals in 27 games which has prompted talk of an exit from Old Trafford.
