Manchester United and Chelsea are on high alert for Brazilian

Marquinhos has suggested his future lies elsewhere from Paris Saint-Germain.

The comments made in the press has sparked Manchester United and Chelsea to be on stand by for a potential transfer.

The Brazilian international is currently behind Thiago Silva and David Luiz in the pecking order in Paris, leaving him frustrated with the lack of game-time.

However, Laurent Blanc and officials at the club deem him to be the future of the club, meaning they could block any possible transfer.

Despite that, Marquinhos has been discussing his future, and he’s dropped a massive hint that he could be ready to quit the club with England a likely destination.

Marquinhos Talks Future

“The Premier League is the number one best league in the world,” Marquinhos told Squawka.

“It’s a very competitive football. There are not weak teams at all.”

He added: “I just like the league itself but I haven’t got an English side that I follow closely.

“It’d be fantastic to have this opportunity [to play in England] one day, but now I’m focused on PSG.”
