Turkish giants want to land the Colombian in January

Fenerbahce are the latest side to be linked with signing Chelsea striker Radamel Falcao, and could launch a formal move in January to land the Colombian.

The Turkish outfit are trying to build-up their first-team with star-names, and over the summer they managed to land Manchester United duo Nani and Robin van Persie.

According to reports now however, they are not happy to stop there and Falcao is the next big-name on their list after he’s failed to impress at Chelsea.

Falcao Flops in England

Falcao spent last season on-loan at United, where he flopped by scoring just four goals in all competitions. Despite that, Jose Mourinho then decided to secure him on a season-long loan from AS Monaco, but once again the deal has backfired.

The striker has barely touched a ball for Chelsea’s first-team, and the Blues could be ready to terminate his deal in the New Year.

If Chelsea do end up getting rid of Falcao, it’s believed Fenerbahce will launch a formal bid for him in the hope they can lure him to the Super Lig.

It’s believed Monaco don’t want the 29-year-old back at the club due to his excessive weekly-wage.
