AS Monaco don’t want the Colombian back in January
Radamel Falcao could have to stay at Chelsea until the end of the season after reports emerged claiming AS Monaco don’t want him back in January.
The Colombian has barely kicked a ball for Chelsea since arriving over the summer on a season-long loan, and initial reports suggested Jose Mourinho would terminate his loan-deal in January.
Falcao Not Wanted
However, reports this morning have claimed Monaco are unwilling to take him back and won’t negotiate a termination fee with the Premier League side.
It was expected that Monaco would take him back to then sell him on again, with La Liga side Valencia interested, but now it looks like Falcao will remain at Stamford Bridge until the summer.
The 29-year-old is currently earning £135k-a-week at Chelsea, who also paid £4million to sign him on a loan, but so far he’s only netted once for the Blues.
