Manchester United could sign Toni Kroos from Real Madrid as the Los Blancos prepare to make sensational bid for PSG star Neymar.
The Express report that Real Madrid are considering selling Toni Kroos to Manchester United as they prepare a massive bid for PSG star Neymar.
Neymar only arrived at PSG prior to this season for a world record £200m from Barcelona.
And Real Madrid want the Brazilian to replace Cristiano Ronaldo who is ageing. The Los Blanco’s side will need a lot of money to sign him however and are considering selling Gareth Bale and Toni Kroos to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations.
Manchester United have been linked with both Gareth Bale and Toni Kroos in the past with manager Jose Mourinho admitting in recent interviews that he’d like Gareth Bale.
However Real Madrid are said to be considering bids for Kroos from the highest bidder and PSG and Manchester City could also sign the German midfielder for the right price.
Spanish site Don Balon also state that Real Madrid could offload Kroos in order to fund the purchase of Neymar.
Manchester United tried to sign Kroos in the past in 2013 but the deal fell through and Kroos ultimately joined Real Madrid from Bayern Munich in 2014.
Kroos has gone on to become widely regarded as one of the best central midfielders in the world and Manchester United would pull off a major coup if they manage to sign him.
