Real Madrid legend, Raul, has advised the club to sign Schalke playmaker, Julian Draxler, who is also wanted by Premier League giants; Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal.
The 21-year-old has been linked with Arsenal since January earlier this year, but after the two clubs failed to reach an agreement on valuation, no move occured and the German remained at Schalke.
It’s believed that the Bundesliga outfit wanted just shy of £40million for the midfielder, whilst Arsene Wenger was only prepared to spend £32m.
However, now Arsenal, United and Chelsea are keen on signing Draxler, but face serious competition from Real Madrid, who have been told by a club-legend to sign him.
According to a FIFA agent, Raul has told his former-employees to sign the midfielder if he does choose to leave his current club.
He said: “Raul has recommended that you – Real Madrid – follow and to take good note of the German player of Schalke 04 Julian Draxler.
“He is an attacking player and likes to play behind two strikers.
“He’s great, has a lot of class, plays for a top international team and played in the World Cup. In fact, he is a world champion.”
Raul spent two years with Draxler during his time at Schalke.
