The left-back has started to impress under new Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, after being dropped by Brendan Rodgers earlier in the campaign. He’s caught the eye of Rafa Benitez, who is currently on the lookout for a new left-back, after Marcelo was injured in action against Barcelona.
Madrid are also keeping tabs on Ricardo Rodriguez but they are believed to be preferring a move for the Spaniard instead.
The 23-year old currently has one assist in 12 games so far this season but he’s known to make mazy runs down the wing and even get his name on the scoresheet.
The Reds will be unwilling to sell but if a big offer came in from Madrid, they could be tempted to part ways with him.
