Conte has been heavily linked with leaving Chelsea over the last few months.

The 2016/ 17 season saw Chelsea lift their second league title in three years under their new manager Antonio Conte but not everything has been smooth since they lifted the trophy.

Having lost to Arsenal in the FA Cup final, Conte was determined to improve on the first team quality this season and had planned on bringing in some massive investment over the summer.

Conte was looking to bring in some of the best players from Europe to the club to help them compete in the Champions League this season but reports have now surfaced that Conte is in disagreement with the board over the summer transfer window.

According to reports the Blues boss is now in a row with the club’s executives and is very close to leaving Stamford Bridge.

As.com have confirmed that Fernando Llorente was a top summer target of Conte who had requested Chelsea to take the Spaniard to the Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea made an offer of €5.5 million to sign the former Juventus star who netted 16 goals in Serie A under the Italian tactician, which Conte considered ‘ridiculous’.

Llorente eventually signed for Tottenham for a fee of €10 million.
