Former Arsenal man Robert Pires believes Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata can “make a big success in the Premier League”
Make a big? His words not mine.
Robert Pires was a great player of his time helping the gunners win three FA Cups and two Premier League titles and was part of the clubs unbeaten season of 2003–04, amazing talent.
Pires was speaking to Sky Sports and they asked him about the whole Morata situation.
Morata has been linked with a whole hosts of clubs, one of them in particular is Chelsea Football Club who are at this stage favorites to sign him, they were also favorites to sign him last transfer window and I think the time before that.
He’s hot stuff at the moment and every media outlet is talking about him.
Pires was next on the hit list and Sky got in there to get the Arsenal Legend’s opinion:
He told Sky Sports: “I think Morata can make a big success in the Premier League. Where? I do not know.
“I’ve heard Chelsea have targeted him because he is a very good striker.
“He’s strong and if you want to be a success in the Premier League you need to be strong.
“I think Morata has a very good profile to play in the Premier League.”
