Zenit St Petersburg manager Roberto Mancini has admitted that he would like the opportunity to manage Paris Saint-Germain at some point in the future.

The 53-year-old is currently sitting second with his side in the Russian Premier League, eight points behind leaders Lokomotiv Moscow.

Current PSG boss Unai Emery has managed to take the French outfit to top of their league, clear of second-place Lyon by 11 points.

Speaking with L’Equipe, Mancini said: “Yes, I would like to coach PSG,”

He continued, “Why not if it is possible? They have a good coach (Unai Emery), who is doing a good job, but in football, one single day can change everything.”

“PSG are the best team in Ligue 1. They are also one of the best in the world. They have signed Neymar and Kylian Mbappe. They have a good chance of winning the Champions League now.

“Playing Real Madrid is always difficult but I think that they stand a good chance of doing it this year.

“PSG, at this moment, are like Real, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Manchester City. These teams are at the same level, with good players and they have developed good styles of play.”
