Former Liverpool boss set to join beIN sports

Sports presenter Richard Keys has admitted that beIN sports could add former Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers to their punditry team.

Having been asked on Twitter whether he would be bringing in Rodgers, Keys openly replied, admitting that the station are hoping to bring in the 42-year-old Irishman.

Rodgers has never given a timescale before he intends to return to football in a managerial role, having go on a sabbatical with his wife to Spain, since his departure from Anfield.

Rodgers to sign big-money deal

It is expected the former Liverpool boss will sign a deal with a significant wage package to attract him to the Doha-based TV network.

However, whether official talks between the two parties have taken place are not clear.

Rodgers has been linked with the England job since being sacked by Liverpool, despite Roy Hodgson’s 100% record in European Championship qualification, as well as potentially joining Aston Villa.
