The Chelsea Football Club owner was more than happy about the Blues thrashing over the Toffees.

According to club legend Pat Nevin witnessed Roman enjoy the Blues’ 5-0 win in the Premier League.

Antonio Conte snatched up his fifthgame in a row, The Blues have also not conceded a league goal since September 24.

The 3-4-3 set-up Conte has implemented is what has got them up second in the table.

“After the game I watched Roman Abramovich walk across the field with the biggest grin you are ever likely to see from him,” Nevin told the club’s official website.

“We didn’t win anything on Saturday but the man who has put so much into the club seemed to exude the idea, ‘This is why I have got involved, not only to be successful but to be successful while being creative, entertaining and quite frankly rather beautiful on the eye to watch.’”

He added: “As for the team, well there were stunning performances throughout, with Eden Hazard showing precisely why it is not silly to ask whether he is capable of consideration alongside the likes of Gareth Bale and [Cristiano] Ronaldo.

“Diego was colossal and David Luiz bestrode the match like a world-class footballer playing against an under-11 side.

“I could go on about every player with the exception of Thibaut Courtois. I have no idea if he was on good, bad or indifferent form because he scarcely got a sniff of the ball throughout.”
