Barcelona and overall footballing legend Ronaldinho says Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus can become the best player in the world.
Jesus had scored three goals in his first five appearances for Man City before sustaining a metatarsal injury and had even bumped Sergio Aguero from Guardiola’s starting line-up.
Lionel Messi has won five of the last nine World Player of the Year awards, however, Ronaldinho still thinks Jesus is capable of reaching that level in the future.
‘Manchester City have a very special player with Gabriel Jesus. Maybe even, in the future, the best player in the world,’ said Ronaldinho.
‘At the moment it is Messi. I have always said I think one day it will be Neymar. But at 19, in the future, it can be Gabriel. He has all the abilities to make that happen.’
