Chelsea youngster will now earn a whopping £60k-a-week
Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek will now be earning a staggering £60k-a-week after signing a new long-term deal at Stamford Bridge.
The 20-year-old signed a new five-year deal at Chelsea yesterday after it was announced by the club, keeping him at Stamford Bridge until 2021, and it’s now been revealed how much he will earn because of that new contract.
Despite making just 12 first-team appearances this season, Loftus-Cheek will now be earning £60k-a-week, which is a massive pay-rise from his original contract.
Future Star
Although he’s struggling to make regular first-team appearances, officials at Chelsea believe Loftus-Cheek is one for the future and that’s why they’ve given him a lucrative long-term contract.
Loftus-Cheek is currently behind the likes of Cesc Fabregas, Nemanja Matic and John Obi Mikel in the pecking order.
