City agree deal with Spanish side

Manchester City have agreed a deal with Sevilla to send midfielder Samir Nasri out on loan for the season.

Nasri was made to train on his own earlier in the summer upon arriving for pre-season. He was criticized by new manager Pep Guardiola over his weight.

He is set to have a medical today before the window shuts, according to Sky Sports. Although, they also reported that there is no option in the deal to make the move permanent next summer.

The midfielder, who has more than 40 caps for France, came on as a substitute in Man City’s 3-1 win over West Ham on Saturday, but now looks set for a switch to the Spanish top flight.

Nasri made just 12 Premier League appearances for Manchester City last season, scoring two goals.
