Alexis Sanchez has high expectations about his time at Manchester United and says that he left Arsenal for Man United to win every possible trophy.

The Chilean forward says he left Arsenal for Manchester United in January because he believes he has a better chance of winning “everything” at Old Trafford.

The Chilean’s future had been the subject of speculation for months, particularly since entering the final year of his Arsenal contract in July. Few predicted that Alexis Sanchez would end up at Manchester United when the season began and yet it was the size of the Old Trafford club that eventually had made his mind up to join the club. Stating that he is capable of winning everything under Jose Mourinho, the Chilean paid tribute to how sees the Red Devils as the biggest club in England.

In recent interview with Sky Sports..

Sanchez said: “I think that Manchester United, since I was young – and I’m not just saying this because I’m here, I’m an honest guy and I never lie – they are the biggest club in England,”

“There are lots of big clubs and I played for Arsenal, who are also one of them, a huge club when I was there.

“But coming here, looking at the badge, I think United have to win everything because they are such a big club.

“The badge says it all.

“I left Arsenal because I wanted to develop and learn as a player, and to get to experience a new club.

“United are a huge club on the global stage. I came here to win everything. Otherwise I wouldn’t have come.”
