Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla has put to bed all rumours about him returning to Spain.
The playmaker has been strongly linked with a move to Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid and has also been monitored by FC Barcelona who are in the market to replace Xavi.
However, the Spanish duo won’t be signing Cazorla after he has confirmed that he has no plans on leaving Arsenal over the Summer.
“Right now I haven’t heard from anybody, it’s just rumours,” Cazorla told Spanish paper El Mundo.
“And, to tell the truth, it doesn’t concern me too much.
“What I’m concerned about is Arsenal, where I’m doing well.
“In the future, we’ll see.
“I’m saying that I like it very much and, as long as the club value me as they have done until now, then I’ll continue.”
