Roma want to bring player back to Italy
Roma want to raid Manchester United this summer and bring defender Matteo Darmian back to Italy.
The defender is well down the pecking order under Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford, and is thought to be considering his future.
Roma are ready to put the player out of his misery by bringing him home.
He joined in 2015 under Louis van Gaal, but things never really worked out for him and he now seems likely to leave the club in the summer.
Roma are keen, but could face competition from Juventus and Napoli too.
Darmian has made 18 appearances for Man United this season.
Despite no being a regular for his club, the defender has been called up for Italy’s fixtures with Albania and Holland this month.
