According to reports the Saints have joined the hunt for Chelsea striker Bertrand Traore, according to reports.
The People are claiming Southampton are very keen to snatch up the Chelsea outcast.
The 21-year-old is currently loaned out to Dutch giants Ajax and has impressed them during his stint there and is just one of many Chelsea players to be sent out on loan.
However, he doesn’t appear to have a future at Stamford Bridge.
Saints boss Claude Puel will need to move quickly if he wants to secure his signature.
It was also reported last week that Saints boss Mark Hughes sent scouts out to watch the £4.5m-rated youngster.
Traore no doubt impressed last season, scoring four goals in 16 appearances for Chelsea.
However, it’s unclear what Conte wants to do with the young lad as nothing official from wither clubs has been confirmed
