Man. United may now be tempted to bid again for Harry Kane

Tottenham have had a £10 million bid for Lyon striker Clinton N’Jie accepted, according to reports.

Mail Online report that the Cameroon international is due to fly to London for a medical in the coming days, and agree personal terms.

Spurs have already had two bids of £7 million and £8 million rejected for N’Jie, but their improved third bid looks to have struck gold.

N’Jie only scored eight goals last season for Lyon but has a better than 1 in 2 goal ratio for his country

The Ligue 1 runners up club have now signed France international playmaker Mathieu Valbuena from Dynamo Moscow, and are willing to sell the striker who played 33 times for them last season.

The news will come as a boost to Manchester United, as they continue their pursuit of Spurs’ talismanic striker Harry Kane.

But the North London club insist that Kane, who netted 31 times in all competitions last season, is not for sale.

Mauricio Pochettino‘s side are also the odds-on favourites to sign West Brom striker Saido Berahino, with SkyBet significantly slashing odds to 1/4.
