After announcing his plans to leave Liverpool in the Summer, Steven Gerrard is already wanted by MLS side, LA Galaxy, who are already working on a contract to offer the Englishman.

The 34-year-old announced his shocking news yesterday and admitted that it was one of the toughest decisions he’s ever had to make, but the long-serving captain will be leaving Anfield in the Summer and will be looking for a new football adventure.

After making the announcement, Gerrard confirmed that he would never play against Liverpool, ruling out a move to another Premier League side, and it looks like he will be set for a move to America and in particular, LA Galaxy.

Gerrard will be yet another high-profile name to join the American league, and according to reports, he will be offered the same contract as David Beckham was offered when he joined Galaxy.

The MLS side will offer the English a four-year deal worth £20million, which would make him one of the biggest earners in American football/soccer.

However, when asked about interest in Gerrard, the LA president said: ‘We don’t have anything yet.

‘We don’t comment on players that are not with our club. We’ve been pretty consistent with that all along.’
